so i was getting lost in my thoughts when i though about if i had a pm8 ecu and chipped it then couldn't i just load obd-0 files to it to in general make it run my b18 swap in my crx? or am i missing something? any inquiries are welcome, i am just curious and obviously still learning about chipping.peace -mike

 

The PM8 is the CrX HF ecu, and it is very similar but not to the PM6. It doenst have a external rom, so you have to set it up for that, dont ask me, cuz i have no clue, I have a PM8 that i would like to get done too, because its just sitting there, and i would like to test on it, instead of my PM6!!

 

If your ECU doesn't have an external EPROM, just get one that does. Seriously, chipping an OBD-0 without an external isn't even worth it IMO.

 

..or just use Deluded's adapter board.
