Re: i could use some help on this please
hrmmm...the jumpers.....do you see the blue rectangular shaped box on your software main screen, it just shows you switches 1-12 and which ones are supposed to be on and off ( up or down) as long as you have the right chip selected under devices, it will show you the proper settings for that chip, then you just have to set the actual switches on the burner how they look on the screen, sorry i have no pics.....and i meant just simply getting it all set up ( the switches and having the right chip selected) and then closing the software, then re open it, then insert the chip, then see if you can id it....if not try using the other willem software, whichever one your not using now...if that dont work? im not sure, is that a willem dual power? it looks a little different than mine, which is a willem enhanced....

I thought you had to add a value somewhere to use the SST chip? Like: https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=40052.0
I also had problems with my Willem. I'd set everything up and it wouldn't ID the chip, wouldn't burn, wouldn't do anything. I had to plug the serial cable to the board and then to the computer. Plug in the USB power at the board, but not the laptop. Start 097g software. Insert chip & lock socket. Plug in USB to laptop. ID chip/Erase/Burn etc... That's for a AT29C256 chip, not an SST. Could be a similar issue. If you do anything out of that order, it wouldn't work.

Re: i could use some help on this please
doubtful...maybe if you are putting the chip in backwards
its really something silly you are doing wrong
give it a day, rest - relax and then go back and re-read the instructions carefully, clear your mind
