Ok so I bought a 29C256 + Enhanced Universal Willem EPROM Programmer BIOS ATMEL, from ebay. I followed all the instructions, but I cant figure out how to set the jumpers. It dosent look like the others. I would like to burn a chip for turbo edit.....here is what it looks like.

What do you mean you can't figure it out?

For that chip, all you need to do is set the switches below the chip carriage and the jumpers to the right of the carriage per the Willem software picture.

What version software are you using? If the picture doesn't match your board, try the PCB3 setting.

where are you seing these willem software pictures? the software i'm using doesnt show that ---- (.97g)

Use this chip/carriage as reference. You need to set your jumpers (yellow) and your switches (1 thru 12) to match.

EDIT: Eh, I just looked at the pic. in the sale. I'd ask the guy you bougt it from what software to use...

yeah that picture isnt really telling me anything, what is that red ---- around those yellow jumpers? does that mean all of the jumpers need to be toutching each other? those other sockets in the picture dont really help either i dont know what numbers they are.

That board is weird... All I had to do was set my switches and the (yellow) jumpers right next to the socket.

if you guys click on the ebay link you will see that there are no jumpers next to the zif socket. so how do you set jumpers that are not there?
