the gromet one works fine if you use a very tight fitting gromet and hole and also use a little bit of sealer on it. it wont pop out. Chacko had it done to his car and it never fell out and he was boosting 13psi on the streets at the time. (spikes to 19 psi lmao)

Ok, one person says before the turbo, and the rest say after. I can see why after makes sense, but I found a hole in the turbo inlet that fits the sensor perfectly, so I'm gonna try that out first. If it doesn't work, I'll drill a hole and remount it before the tb.

ERRRNT! Wrong.

Put it right before the throttle body, if you can't get it after the throttle body (in the intake manifold).

You'll be getting false readings, and the signalt o IAT will send this back to the ECU, and adjust your fuel accordingly. It doesn't adjust much, but it could effect a few different things..

yeah, the whole point is to read the temp of the intake air, if you read it way before the turbo, by the time it gets to your mani, it's not the same temp as what it read

i think it also adjusts your timing as well if the charge is too hot...especially if it's heatsoaked.

Ok, I just sucked it up and drilled a hole before the TB that fit the sensor EXACTLY and forced it in there with some rtv. Seals tight and works great. Took all of 10 minutes. Thanks all for the advice.
