If I had even a slight clue of what you were talking about I would try to help. I suck at soldering. I won't even attempt it. WTF is ASFDA:FAF? Is that some sort of Circuit board?

thats me mashing my keyboard in anger...
lol
anyways ends up it just took a little work.
desoldering the stock PM6 chip
i cut the pins off the chip and got all the pins out.
then used soldering braid to get all the xcess solder off, then took a needle on vicegrips and heated up the solder on one side and pushed the pin through, then pulled the pin back. this left all the solder that was in the hole on the other side.

Good luck. I hate solder and solder hates me.

You could use a solder sucker. It is a spring loaded suction device that sucks molten/wet solder from places. You can get them from local electronic store or maybe even a radio shack. 3-15 bucks depending on how good it is.
Or you could use a roll of copper braiding, just place the braiding ontop of the solder and then the iron ontop of the braiding, the heat pulls the solder into the braiding and it is gone from your board.
Hopefully it's not to late and you can salvage your board. I don't recommend that you use a pin because all that you are doing is pushing the solder around. You wan to remove it right?

I've never been able to get solder braid to wick up all the solder with a regular iron like everyone claims it can. I dunno.
Grab one of the ~30 watt desoldering irons from Radio Slack... the ones with the red suction bulb built into it. Place your braid over the hole (if OBD1) or pin (if OBD0) you need to desolder... put the desoldering iron on top of that... count to five slowly (3-4 for later holes... the heat ------s across the PCB board) and start sucking up the solder - lift iron and braid off before completely done sucking.
95% chance of success. If it doesn't work - REFILL the holes/pins with solder. Solder tries to stick together, so if you get a little moving the rest wants to come out with it... if you try to desolder a mostly "dry" hole, well, good luck.
For desoldered pins, take a pair of needle nose and wiggle the pins a bit before removal... that makes sure you don't have any residual solder sticking the pins in place.

ya the desoldering gun works 10x better. i have braid too but didnt try it like joseph said. im sure thats the best way. i was using the braid to just wipe off the tip so kinda the same idea. i have that suction-trigger-tube thing too and it blows.
forgot to mention, i think a lot of people screw up cuz they dont realize you need to get the solder to go through to the other side as there are traces on top of the board and not only on the bottom.
probably should bend the pins like honda does but i dont see how that would be better.
