i didnt c anything on hondata here and was wondering if they were ecu's that were chipped by them, and shipped to us, or are the ecu's we send them and they send them back after they are chipped? i cant find anything on ther website either thats why i ask. gonna get a s300 when i do my b18b swap into my 91 civic hb("CivTegra" soon to be). just need to know how they come about.

For S300 the "chipping" is a little different than most ECUs but you dont have to send it into them to run the S300.
I can do the S300 and I am sure there are others on here who can as well...
Most people on here run the DIY stuff though which is why you dont see much about Hondata.

i am a very strong hondata user, although i can and do tune other "freeware" type ecu's. i do however like the support available from hondata that i have received unlike some other i have had issues with in the past.
i will say crome, and crome pro are definetley nice and do very well, but if yuo want an s300 get ahold of xenocron he can do anything you need

well i think im gonna do hondata for the easy usage factor. programing is nothing new to me so i guess i cant be that hard. and how is it that you can get the chips, are they ordered and sent to you for yourself to put in or what?? doesnt really matter to me just would like to know for future reffernce for others.

Hondata chips? Like a basemap? Or the actual chip you burn the program on?
For a Hondata basemap, you need someone that has the software (S100/S200) to make you a basemap. For the S300, the Editor is now Free so anyone I guess could make you a basemap...
