Default high impedance or low impedance, that is the question

is there a way to use a multi-meter to check the resistance on an injector to know if you need a resistor box? I just picked up some 650's and dont want to burn them up with my resistor box. I also dont want to remove the resistor box and burn up the ecu

Low- 1.7 to 3.0 ohms (Peak and Hold Driver/Injectors) you will need the box.

High- 10 to 16 ohms (Saturated Circuit Drivers/Injectors)No box

thread jack :P

I'm switching to OBD1 on my CRX......Do I remove my resistor box?

I'm still using the same DSM 450's just adding a PO6.

Honda/Mitsu/Toy ECUs want to see a minimum of 10 ohms across the injector. If you do not have 10 ohms, insert 6.8 ohm Honda or Mitsu or Toyota resistor box inline pls kthx.

the resistor box is needed cause of the DSM 450's. it doesnt matter what ecu you use, you will need a resistor box with those
