Is it true that when an ECU is chipped, it is chipped for sea level only! it cant be done for high altitudes

no no no..

the ecu has a fuel table that is setup for load VS MAP

the ecu will see a different map reading under the same vehicle conditions at different altitudes.

Plus if your boosting itl ee boost and wont need to compensate that much other than adding more fuel.
