I removed this thing, it was attached as a signal bypass on the green/red line from the map sensor then to the ecu and it also tapped into rpm signal. Once I removed it, the car was running super rich and wouldn't rev passed 5000rpm (no cel) and had no power...

Any idea how this thing controlled fuel? Only thing I can see is that it acts like an electronic "missing link", but I have no idea how this would trick the ecu into adding more fuel. Is my ecu reflashed?

basically a vafc with a built in basemap tune for that turbo kit, its not adjustable it tricks your map into running correctly with the 660's why did you take it off ?? r u try'n to blow up your car ?? that thing might not be the best but its better than NO FUEL MANAGEMENT

So I opened up the black box and it does look like a MAP controller. I found the website that was on the circuit board. Does this mean my injectors aren't factory? Probably explains why it's running rich/like crap.

Put it back to stock because that was the reason for me buying the car. This is my winter beater.

FYI: figured everything out, put the smc back in til I can get some stock injectors.
