xenocron i sent you my bin file...
I saw your BIN...thanks for sending it to me.

So basically you just took NG48 code, activated VTEC at "X" rpms in TurboEdit, added the resistor to bring the voltage down and viola! VTEC

Nice man and great prices...

Now you have to get a Turbo on that thing...I was surprised that you didnt have any boost maps in your BIN but then I remember that not everyone working with TurboEdit is boosting.

Thanks for posting this stuff here...many people will benefit.

I will add this to the FAQ after I get back from my Turkey Day travels!

Test some more and let us know how it goes.

You do have this hooked up to the VTEC solenoid now? And are activating properly?

Ah i see...

So in retorspect...if you hook A8 directly to the VTEC solenoid, you dont need any resistors.

If you are hooking up this output for another use, or for debugging, you will need the resistor.

exactly although i decided to leave the resistor there because it doesnt hurt anything anyway i will test without the resistor, to see if the voltage is at 0 or above without the resistor but attached to the vtec solenoid;

and also i have question for you xenocron that bin file i sent you when i open it in TE it wont let me go above 10.85 in the fuel table is this intentional or did i do something wrong help me out im breakin out the wideband today..

i figured it out has to do with the fuel multipliers...

in the 'file --> properties' box make sure fuel multipliers are set to auto-detect

ok so i tryed the pgmfi-ng28 bin from turboedit.org made a basemap and every time i hit my vtec rpm it throws cel 19 (automatic lockup solenoid)i used the stable bin from ------------- and it works perfect is this an issue with the ng28 bin and which "ngXX" is on ------------- im confused and curious why ng28 throws code 19 and the stable bin doesnt....
