Default help me with the VTM wire on D15z6

when i have installed my VAFC i havent plugged the VTM controler wire.
It wasnt in the mamual.
Ihad all my setup done without it and i tought that the vto engagement point was uncontrolable because my engine wasnt listed in the apexy table of use.
But few days ago i discovered there was an update and blabla
the was no cable going out from the ecu to the vtm point.
So i di a myselfmade patent and i pluged the VTM wire form the Vafc directly to the ecu.
AFew case after that i had the check engine light on and then the engine stoped.
I guess its maybe because of the mess around the electric instalation because now its unplugged the car goes fine.
what are your guys setting for the vto engagement point?
what rpm HI<LO LO>HI
thx
