ROMulator, EEPROM burner, serial cable, PII 300MHz laptop or faster.

ROMulator connects to the ECU in the ZIF socket (or the lo-profile socket) where the EEPROM goes. A serial cable runs from the ROMulator to the laptop. You open TurboEDIT, and opent he ROM you want to tune. Click on Tools -> Real Time Programmer (or some such ----, I can't remember what I named it) and it will sync the ROM with the ROMulator. Start the car, then edit the ROM just like you would any other way. All of the changes are made are updated in real=time, and you can watch them on the RTP Monitor (a small window that runs in the TurboEDIT tuning environment).

I don't think Blake ahs written support for UD.

ROMulator plugins into the ECU as if it were a chip, in the same spot. Any generic serial cable will work. Mine came with a serial cable, but then again, Karl gave me mine free for development.
