Default Help a buddy out!

My friends b16 in a 94 SI N/A running uberdata on a p28 throws a codes everyonce in a while.

Code 43
Fuel Delivery/oxygen sensor

The sensor is a 10 month old Honda Sensor from the dealer.

We checked voltage a the pump, we got 12.9 volts when the battery read 14.3

We changed the Fuel Pres Reg. and the pressure is 32psi at idle and 43 when the engine is revved, coldstarted etc.

Any Ideas?

Code 43 can mean either a problem with the oxygen sensor or a problem in the fuel supply system. The Helms manual says if the code is accompanied with poor driveability (sounds like this is the case) then it is indeed something in the fuel supply system.

Which of the following symptoms does the car have?

- Engine won't start
- Difficult to start engine
- Rough idle
- Misfire or rough running
- Fails emission test
- Loss of power
- Frequent stalling while warming up
- Frequent stalling after warming up

Sounds to me like you have "misfire or rough running" which would indicate (according to the Helms) something wrong with the fuel injectors.

Wow, whiterice, you da man. The only symptom he has is loss of power. The car only laid down a 16.9 at the track the other day.
