Default has this happened to anyone before? *fixed!!*

i know most of the threads about "my car isnt running right, heres what its doing" never get answered because you really need to be there in person to figure it out. But i figured i'd throw it on the table as well. All of this started happening when i swapped to a y8 intake manifold. The car is really jerkey and violent when you get on and off the throttle. It will not hold a cruise speed, you have to accellerate. Other than that, it runs perfectly fine? Here are some things that it is not:

tps sensor- already checked .45 closed and 4.75 open

throttle cable free play- I have a homemade mount, but it looks ok to me

the evap purge solonoid broke during the swap. I know it does something with vacuum in the canister, but i dont think it would cause this....?

from a z6 manifold to a y8? what throttlebody are you using? is your iat hanging or in the intake piping? how is your idle? as far as the canister, just temporarily plug the small vacuum line (until you get it fixed) going to purge solenoid...that is what opens the larger vacuum line connected to the TB.

in otherwords, i dont know...just throwing out something. there isnt too much that can go wrong with a manifold swap...vacuum leaks, fuel issues, throttle cable issues, and sensor issues...but looks like youve already got a good start on checking ----....

its a b18b throttle body. iat is hanging, but im 99% sure that doesnt matter. the evap purge was connected to my cansiter, not the tb. Still got me stumped.

hmmm....is the b18b TB one that you had on before? ie...is the map sensor definately working correctly, or could it have been damaged during reinstallation?

the purge should be connected from intake manifold to purge solenoid to canister...a large line comes from the canister to the TB vacuum....i believe.

no, i swapped the tb with the manifold. I have a moto 2.5 bar sensor though, so the stock one isnt even used.

good eye, i totally missed that part. did you also change the maps when you swapped the manifold alot of times the TPS can be perfect, much like yours and the injectors wont shut off on decel like they should, mista bones just had this problem w/ a gude TB.
