Got my 450's today and got a ?

I got them in the mail and was checking over them. I noticed that the black part by the tip has a hairline crack on it. Are they not gonna work correctly because of this? Please let me know. Thanks.

if it looks about ready to fall off take it off they run without them, i got two with and two without, i think most people on here with 450's have the same problem
