Got DSM 450s, injectors broken :(
I got my DSM 450 injectors from a member on the site, but when I opened it up, 2 of the black bottom pieces on the injector were broken/missing.
Are they needed? If it's broken/missing, can I just buy the black pieces and clip them on?
Also, who can clean and flow them for a decent amount of $?

I know this has been covered.
Those black pieces at the end of the injector are not necessary. Every DSM injector I have ever seen in person had cracked caps. If they are cracked too bad I just rip them off. It doesn't affect the spray pattern. Just don't drop them after you rip them off.

Not if we're talking about the same piece? It's the piece at the very end of the injector where the fuel sprays from.__________________

I'm REALLY sorry. I'm not used to the search function on this board yet.
But thanks for helping a turbo noob and his silly questions
Now, how much of the stock injector seal do I have to grind off? I read in another post that someone lubed the heck out of the stock honda injector seal and jammed it in there by tightening the bolts on the fuel rail?
Only thing I'm afraid of grinding/dremeling down the seals is ovaling it out or having it not seal completely...
Thanks again for any help you can provide.

No, that won't affect any sealing between the manifold and the injector. The rubber seal does that.
