gm map sensor help!!

Default gm map sensor help!!

ok so i purchased that fields vafc piece of ---- and i heard that in order to lean out my a/f mix i need to get a 3 bar gm map sensor. is this true? if so does it matter what gm vehicle it comes off of? thanx o yeah i have a d16y8 in a 97 civic ex if that helps

they get moved because u put them in the wrong spot.

and no you dont need a gm 3bar to lean it out. If you are trying the AFC hack to fuel your turbo'd car you need to get 450cc DSM injectors.

yeah i know that but i have a fields controler and it ownly goes +/- 3o so it will run too rich all the time and i heard that a GM 3 bar MAP sensor will lean out my mix. so i'm asking will it and if so what do i need to do to run it?

you can either post them in the right place or ill just start deleteing them VS moving them The GM Map might work but i do ntkn ow for sure, i only used tehm to detect boost at higher than 10 PSI.

if you wnat ot replace the current map on your car with thie new GM one youll need 1st, a vaccume line to the sensor, 2 you need to wire it with your exsisting 3bar sensor.

youll have to try it and see. im not sure it will affect it at all. what are you running ATM?
