does GD run so rich that it smokes a little when i start it; its a white smoke and it goes away after 20 secs;and if so is this bad

 

dude Ghettodyne is standalone engine management. It will run as rich or as lean as you program it to.

 

i got GD with the ecu i bought ;im only running it until saturday ;i have a guy were i live burning me a chip and tunning it for turboedit;i just want to know if the white smoke is from running rich and will it damage my motor

 

usually black smoke comes from running it rich. White or blue smoke is oil/coolant burning. I don't think white smoke has anything to do with ghettodyne.

 

i know its not oil and if it was coolant why would it stop after 20 sec and the cars runs fine

 

every engine is different. if you're that worried about it and you're not sure then have a mechanic take a look at it. :P

 

Probably just moisture in the air or from having gas thats been sitting in your tank for a while. Not to worry.

Heh, call me crazy, but do you think it might be your turbo spilling into your charge pipes and you're burning it up?

..check your charge pipes and see if they're greasy.

 

charge pipes are bone dry;i pulled the plugs and there tips are a light brown color
