could be the valve stem seals. oil will leak down while the engine is off... but its white smoke.

 

its probably cold where you are and you see a brief period of condensation leaves your exhaust, plus when cold the ECU adds extra fuel and it will appear somewhat white in color...smell the exhaust...does it smell like fuel or a sweet candy smell?
