Strange idea, however, hacking your TPS? ..really seems rather, ..interesting(?). Hrm.

change the signal to make the car add more fuel then it normaly would. Sure you can do it, but there are better solutions out there.

any of these hacks that are going to reduce the resolution for the computer, are going to turn into a bad thing, unless you only care about WOT.

He's merely using the TPS input on the SAFC for connecting the MAP sensor, because the SAFC doesn't have a seperate input for an additional MAP sensor and TPS is useless for tuning on a turbo car.

I understand that...

..but, my thinking was that TPS was used as the switching point between wide, and narrow tuning cruves on the V-AFC. The percentage of TPS (which is also set under TPS) is the trigger.

Manifold pressure 0-5v would now be the trigger, you would have to know the proper voltage at which MAP would switch from vac to boost (I believe it's about ~3.1v on a stock) MAP sensor. Then I guess this would work..

..however, I don't really see the practical use in this.
