Default field sfc-vtec

Could i use field sfc-vtec on an non-vtec car like me 90 ls just not hook up the vtec wires right?

Yes I have seen people use the S-AFC on non VTec motors before. The people I"ve seen do it just said all they did was not hook up the VTec wiring. I'm not sure how good it worked or if it even works at all I just have seen poeple have them in their cars and when I asked them how are they using it they just said don't hook up any of the VTec stuff.
