few questions about turboedit
so i will be turboing my crx soon and i'm new to the whole tuning thing. i downloaded turboedit to check it out and try to get an idea what i'm doing. i've read a bunch on it but i'm still like ??? . so anyway i had a few questions about chipped ecu's.
i think this is what i'm gonna need Xenocron Tuning: OBD0 Chipped ECU (PM6 or PR4). #[PM6-Chipped] the datalogging cable means i can just hook it straight to a laptop instead of using a chip burner correct? i'll probably get flamed for this thread but i'm just trying to understand it all before i get too ahead of myself. |

ECU Emulator LC-1 with 02 Sensor Datalogging Cables and Kits im not sure what the best solution is for the datalogging cable, as im still in the stone age with my old gotspeed rs232 board. if you have a friend with a wideband and/or emulator then you can save money on that. if you need help tuning, i get to binghamton once in awhile... |

what about a pr3 ecu?
I have one already in my b16 turbo 91 dx. just trying to stay out of the complications of obd1 conversion if what I already have will work. |
With a pr3 you should look at using BRE instead. As it supports dual tables/vtec directly. TE only has single ignition/fuel tables.

if your looking for a cheap wide band look at the JAW its a do it yourself and amazing.
