Closest thing I have seen to that was one with a socket, obviously aftermarket. Had a chip in it, but the jumper was not present so pointless I guess.

i've seen quite a few of them, mostly pr4's, but i've seen a few p06's also. you think honda outlined that area just for us to chip our ecu's? ;) and yes, i've had people send me their ecu to "chip with uberdata" and it's already socketed with like a mugen chip or something. what does this mean for me? 2 minutes worth of work and a free mugen chip :D

I have seen quite a few as well. A few AUTO P28s had them, and I believe they are all the very early production boards. I would rather the stupid chips not be there. They are more of a pain in the ass to get out.
