Default a/f fuel gauge not working!?

I went out an bought a autometer a/f ratio gauge for my turbo setup and it doesnt seem to read anything.I have a b16 pwo with 2 o2 sensor hook up but only running 1 o2 and the o2 sensor is a single wire o2. the instructions say run the purple wire to the o2 wire running into ecu and the black to neg. and red to positive. I ran the car for a lil while and it was plenty warmed up it started to read for a lil bit but then stopped. any help would be great.

You may want to check your o2 sensor. Connect the purple wire to the negative side of the battery if the guages light work, it's not the gauge, it's the o2 sensor.

You bought a narrow band A/F gauge. Nice waste of money. They dont mean ---- and are just a light show.

you could hook it up to the programmable output on a wideband and then it would be accurate

as a narrowband gauge it is pretty useless. it does just as its name says. monitors a very narrow area that is way too lean for a turbo car when running anything more than cruise. but like i said before, you can program a wideband to put out the voltage needed by that narrow band gauge and then it will show correct data and wont be useless, but if you are having trouble hooking it up the right way then i think using it with a wideband is going to be a little over your head

lol it doesnt work all that good cause they suck worst then a SAFC/VAFC your better off getting wideband cause a/f guages u cant tune with.
