Looks like a trailer park datalogger. But ya, without the info on that IC, you won't know for sure.

The id has been removed from the chip

This is the inside of a clone cable for an emanage unit....

Its probably just a Max232 chip...4 caps...just screams RS232 to TTL convertor to me...

Ya, I could see GReddy putting that crap together. Then and Zdyne are in cahoots with thier ghetto *** homebrew electronics.

I think JD's trailer park AFC had more class than that.

I agree, thats a Max232 board to convert serial port levels, looks identical to home made ones people used to use with DirecTV recievers. Those little radioshack perfboards are just the right size for them.
