Re:ECU problem

are you killing the ECU's when they are blowing fuses? sounds like you have a short somewhere.

Re:ECU problem

If you put an AFC on there.. check that. Check your grounds..

Re:ECU problem

Uh, you're running 1.8l 16 valve engine from a 1.6l 8 valve ECU?

...PLEASE tell me you're joking. If you're not, your ringlands are praying that you ceaserunning the car until you get your ---- fixed.

Re:ECU problem

yes like try a lack of fuel causing your ---- to run leaner hotter and start pinging this is where it gets fun cause it'll go pop and then you wont just have a ECU poblem

Re:ECU problem

Correct.

You're not giving the motor the fuel it needs. Your cylinder temps are going to get too high, and you'll detonate. Exploding your ring lands, and you'll be investing in new pistons, rings, and a hone (at minimum).
