eCtune Install probs

Default eCtune Install probs

So ive been trying to install eCtune on my labtop and cant get it to work
I get this message when i try to open it

And yes I have done the force update but still get this message. Any Ideas what im doing wronge?

I had that problem when I downloaded the free/preview version. I uninstalled, reinstalled, register, and updated. I think.

To bad Vistsa might be shitty w/ ectune.

Is that a new laptop? what kind?
If its because of vista, you should be able to downgrade to XP. Then it will be ****.

While you can down grade most Vistsa equip computers down to Xp, some computers don't have the drivers for the Xp, thus making Xp unable to run right. Also doing a double boot on a computer seems to shorten the HD life. You can run multiple OS on a computer with out having to do a double boot at all. BTW Linux> windows

---- what a pain in the ***. I dont want to downgrade to XP as this laptop isnt mine. Its a year old or so Toshiba

The problems im finding with vista on eCtunes forum are post that are 2 years old and their diffrent issues then what im having now.

I had the same problem with vista and Ectune, but I got all my ---- worked out. First did you disable the UAC ( user account control)?

i don't know if it would make a difference or if you did it already, but right click, then "run as administrator"

how do you do that

And when i right click their is no "run as administrator"

click the start menu and at the bottom there will be a start search bar type in U it should pull up user accounts. click it and it will pull up options at the bottom of the options it will say turn user account control on or off. click that and turn it off.
