Re: ECtune
I really don't know what the deal is with sales/licensing. A lot of that is supposed to be hammered out when a bunch of us meet Calvin at PRI next week. I'm not in the sales loop, but if I get any advance info I'll ask if I can share it.
There are a number of advance single user copies floating around already... Minor Threat, zex_slavic_scammer_uncool, etc.

Joey, I still need you to walk me through eCtune, which BTW for everyone else will be worth every penny of the license. Hands down walks all over S300 in terms of interface and ease of use. I've yet to tune a car with Neptune so I don't know how it compares.

Re: ECtune
I really wish I could offer this software. After a full circle jerk of Emails, I figured out that I don't work on enough cars per month to make it worth it.
I wish Calvin figured out a better copy protection/anti-piracy method than he currently has. It would allow for a per-unit sales dealer setup, and open it up to the weekend guys like me.
I really want to try out the single user option. Anything PGMFI.org derived gets my vote.
I checked out the Logger version that was posted. The GUI is spot ------- on, IMHO. Its like CROME interface meets Hdata functionality. ---- rips yo'

Re: ECtune
I'll bet you tune more cars than I do, and I have as many big power dyno sheets in the eCtune dyno forum as anyone. From what Spiker has said you have more 600 whp cars currently running than I have under my belt period.
Calvin's a brilliant programmer and the software is excellent.

Re: ECtune
ECTune for Tuners: Being getting the ability to write EEPROMS, and make multiple tunes,
Will cost over $1,000 to buy, and $250/mo. It is for serious tuners, and to keep illegal distribution/chips made down.
Ostrich pairing requires a less than automated process to complete, so this leave the same hole with CROME with licensing; however, once paired, you need not worry till you need to pair again.
The interface is seemless and AWESOME!
I have been testing it for a few days now; Routine errors in the code poping up, and good work done by all. It still needs work and is deservidly in beta, but rest asured, this product is gonna take alot of business from hondata; With the disassembly of the OBDII code happening now, it could be possible in the future to expand it's capabilaties =)
Heres my contributions:
Check out the lag on the right =P
