Does anyone have ideas on cheap good engine control stuff for 1999 chevy Tahoe with 5.7l engine. trying to put together a turbo setup for it.

How about use with a currently non computor controlled vehicle?
I have a chrysler v-8 that is carbed, but i want to convert to F/I

I've seen a few efforts at adapting Ford or GM ECUs, but when I decided to go EFI on my Dodge Dart, I went with an aftermarket standalone ECU. In my case, I went with MegaSquirt; we have some install notes on our site about how to get it to work with stock Mopar electronic ignitions:
