Re:dsm ecu to control engine, honda ecu to control the rest?
So I read like 4-6 posts on this thread and decided to chime in without reading the rest...
First off, the _reason_ DSMs can run "up to 15lbs" without problem is because the ECU reacts to the sensors of the motor and adjusts fuel accordingly.
You would have to make sure that ever sensor on the ECU is correct. This includes everything from the distributor's sensors, to the MAF/MAP, to the IAT ECT blah blah blah.. everything effects how an engine will perform.
Then you take into account that the turbo DSM ECUs are tuned for 2.0l turbo motors. You'd run pig rich on a stock ECU.
Next, you say, well, you can chip your DSM ECU and scale everything back... this brings us back to square one.
Just chip your Honda ECU, and be done with it.
Investment > Payout::Cool Factor > Practical application.
