Do you have to solder when installing a SAFC 2?
I am done with my turbo project except for down pipe and SAFC 2. I was reading and i see that everyone solders there wires together when installing a SAFC or VAFC. Why? do you have to? i dont have a solder and i know i cant drive my car to have it done because i dont have propper fuel management if its not in. I know im going to be told to "go buy one" but im seriously out of money for two weeks and i dont want to wait when im this far

It's a better way, but you don't have to. I didn't.

The "why" part of that is because the solder holds the spliced wires together securely so they don't split apart when the harness is moved around.
Just a security measure so that you don't disconenct and short out your ECU or AFC.
