Wow, nice. Didn't know that was possible with Tuner Pro.

Tunerpro rocks. It should be possible for me to reroute the built in ALDL datalogger to work with the Digi I stuff, Mark says one other guy has done it and he'll share as much as he can if the other guy clears it (IP type stuff). The OBD1 VW stuff is easier than Honda, since they use an off the shelf MCU with common software tools. I should really be able to get something done without spending too too long ------- with it.

Dont forget about the base timing. Thats why half the 87-92 vw's on the road run like crap. You gotta pull the connector to the blue coolant temp sensor, then run the engine up to 2000-2500 rpm, and set base at 6 degrees btdc.

Its weird setup. I kinda dont like the tps switch thing though. Your either idle or WOT no inbetween. Have fun with tip-in adjustment.

There is a delta-MAP table. Ari's Miata didn't have a TPS either, we use delta-MAP which the MS guys refer to MAPdot. it works surprisingly well.

Funny you made this thread. A guy at work offered me a golf today for dirt money. Gonna look at it this week.
