I bought this from a friend, and I know he wouldn't rip me off. I think something happened and maybe he sold me something and didn't know about it. I was supposed to get a brand new Holley 255lph in tank replacement pump for my '00 civic. This is what I got:








The "sock" for the pump looks used and has that gas color, the hose smells like gas and the pump looks used around the connectors.

I suspect that this is a stock civic fuel pump that was put back into the Holley box after an upgrade. The numbers are the pump itself are: "AP195130-2580" and "12P 16" and "FP-4"

The part number on the box says: "12-916"

Any ideas?

Those #'s aren't the same as the 255LPH pump. It looks like you got a stock pump.

 

I just found a stock pump on ebay, and the filter thing on the end looks like the one I got.. and the walbro/holley pumps are different looking..

Umm. I think a good first step would be to confront him about it. It could be an honest mistake. Someone could have returned it that way or something. If he doesn't do what he can to make it right, then sick hotrex on em

 

I'm going to verify you got screwed, I just pulled out my stock pump, 1994 's', the worest pump they made.

^^^^agreed. Maybe he didn't know? Just let him know that it's a stock pump and not worth a ---- to you. If he is a good friend he will refund your money and apologize. If not, beat his *** and post a video of it.

I could post pics of my stock fuel pump, but It would like just like the one you posted so there is not reason.
