I have a decent basemap on my stockish y8 and im puting in launch control and WOT shifitning. now what I need to know is WTF do I ned to splice in order to get WOT shifiting to work

I know its the clutch switch but im not exactly sure on how to go about it. thank you for all the help in advanced .

 

I tapped the clutch switch I believe it was a pink wire [yours may be different] and ran that to B8 on the ecu.This was the cruise switch on the clutch in a 92 Teg.Worked ****

 

ok so just run a wire to the b8 connector in the conversion harnes?? or the stoch harnes?? Il just gona hunt through the helms to find the cruse control connector. Im not sure what part of the CC I need to tap the speed or the RMP switch or what?

You tap the clutch micro switch by the pedal.This way it grounds that pin when clutch is depressed.

 

What hapends when you tap the clutch micro switch to B8?
I am new at WOT shifting.

 

with my crome i just added the extra features. set where i wanted myshift light and where i wanted my FTL and FTS. went out to the car loaded the ostrich up. started the car and held the clutch while i pushed the gas and vola. went up to 3k and sat there. depending on how much you hold the gas it will make some interesting noises. i learned that the FTL didnt work well for me and my B16. if i went wide open the car sounded like it was getting too much air and started to die. sounds cool when it pops though.

 

I also use crome with the extra feture. I will try FTL today. I did not touch any wires just crome extra feture in my P28.

 

I aded extra fetures to crome and aded FTL to my map. It works great. I did not do any wire connections.

 

I have FTL but my FTS is not working. Instead of liting up at 7200 i have revilimit. How do I make shift lite work?

 

What is really the big advantage of using FTS?
