Default Controlling fuel on a carborated SBC (is this a good idea?)

Okay so from the discussion in the general area, here is what im coming up iwth an idea to run for a boosted 350/383 w/ a carb on it....

setup a nitrious plate w/ a jet (start with like a 55hp shot or something like that)

then install a 2nd fuel (eletronic) into the tank, and run a an lines to the engine bay, then there have a fmu unit, fpr and the jet.

setup the FMU unit on this fuel line so that as soon as it starts to see boost it is going to start pushing an ape load of fuel...

maybe I should try a 35hp jet or something like first?

I figure if we were to run like a vortec 8:1 fmu unit the tuning should be pretty straight forward...we can adjust the starting fuel pressure and pretty much eihter swap out the 8:1 for a 10:1 or 12:1 or whatever along with we can change the jet size.

good or bad idea? better ideas? anything else?

what i would do... better yet what i plan on doing this coming summer.. get the complete fuel injection off a newer camaro.. (cross fire fi) then get a wiring harness..from painless wiring... and there u go..
or
just buy a used edlbrock fuel injection setup...
