Default Code 68...anyone who has exp. pls report in.

Need to know what you all have seen the will cause this code...I can't seem to get rid of the one the keeps occuring on my turbo CRX.

Might be voltage problems or whacked wiring somewhere, but I've troubleshot my *** off and can't seem to nail down the exact source..

I'm running an Ostrich with Crome as my tuning software(version 1.25). I've used both a converted p06 and a P28 as my ECU platform.

It's not a code 6 & 8, there is no hesitation between the flashes. Also the code does not stay in "memory" once you cycle the ignition power.

Symptoms/Situation is as follows:

~ '88 CRX HF with OBD-0-->1 conversion, running 900cc low-imp injectors. I did make the conversion hasness myself and i'm not above admitting that it could be janked up.

~ At it's worst the car will drive around fine whilst only on the throttle in a civil manner. However if you mash the throttle past about the 50% mark it'll usually trip the code after 2~3 seconds of hard acceleration. Usually results in the engine falling out of VTEC and popping the code. The Car will engauge VTEC again, but only after you come below the VTEC disengauge threshold. Even with the code on the car will still maintain proper AFR while in boost, redline/vtec RPM stay normal....

~ Seems to be linked electrical draw on the car, accessories(fan, lights, HVAC) on seem to make the problem worse.
~ I've re-wired the ECU power and grounds with larger guage wire for the ground, and a relay with larger gauge wire for the power.
~ I've hooked a mulit-meter up to the VTEC output wire on the ECU and watched it drop voltage to sub~11volts, just before it kicks a code.

I have take me ECU out of the car and used it to tune multiple other cars(turbo and N/A) without any problems.
