Default code 16- fuel injectors

ok, im hoping the veterans can help me out here.
im throwing code 16 right now. i have tried resetting the ecu by disconnectign the battery, that didnt work. i also tried pulling the injectors to see if they were messed up in any way shape or form, they appear to be fine.
the car was not throwing a cel the first week i had it, but i hadnt driven it much. it occasionally sounded like it didnt want to stay started and it sputtered a little to. i had a friend of my fathers install the clutch because he did it for dirt cheap and he machined the flywheel, so it was a good eal.
the reason the car soubded shitty was because the coil went bad on it was because one of the plug wires were fubared and it was making it arc liek a beast and fried it. so he replaced it for free and the car ran fine, but then it started throwing code 16.
thats where im at right now.
the code is thrown a few seconds after the car is started. i have tuner toy 450's and they are supposed to be high imp and thats what the packaging reads as well so i doubt its that. the ecu is controlled by a basemap of uberdata.
now what could be going on? could the chip have progressively somehow gotten fucked up or the injectors. the motor is still getting fuel.
could it be a fucked up main relay thats causing the CEL?
what if i pulled the chip out and put in the old injectors to see if the code is still thrown, will that work or will it ---- something up or not even start?

i know im asking a lot, but i have searched and it seems like it may be the main relay, but i can be sure.
the car hasnt been driven longer that an hour either cause now im affraid to dive it to the tuner until i figure out my cel.

Do you have O2 disabled or enabled?

i would imagine that it is. its someone elses map and it works for them, so im guessing they would need one. the car ran without it for a while and recently started throwing it

if O2 is enabled, either your O2 is ----, or it needs to be tuned

No but I've read enough on forums and played with enough cars to know thats a common problem when code 16 comes up.

my guess is that it needs tuning...but if you want to go replace the O2, by all means...

get it tuned and disable the o2 sensor all together is the best way IMHO
