Clearing OBD0 check engine light on chipped ECU

I just had my car tuned and it I reset my OBD0 Chipped ECU( by unpluging it) will it clear the basemap that is stored on the chip. I did a search and nothing came up for OBD0 chipped ecu. If you have a link

it will only delete your chip if you cut the j-1 jumper

there is no j-1 in an obd0.. and no it will not delete the chip

j1 is on obd1 u have to cut it for datalogging.and thats not going to erase your chip,ull have to use a chip burner for that ive heard if u install them backwards it deletes it.the proper way to reset your ecu is too pull the batt. cables or u can just pull the ecu fues from the under hood fuse box.
