Just jumper the connector and do it in your driveway. Save 20mins of dealing with vatozone workers.

Dude for real. I can't go in that place and buy a quart of oil without having to stand around at the register for 20 minutes waiting for someone to ring me up.

Just stick a paper clip in the service connector and check it yourself.

i really dont know how to do that :P. i dont mind waiting cuz i go up there all the time. im friends with everyone who works there anyway

Well you have failed to recognize your ECU was unchipped and you can't check codes on an OBD-I Civic. I really don't see this whole thing going well for you.

Your on HMT and cant check the ecu codes ::) If you dont own a paperclip or know how to stuff one into a electrical connector then you are truly fucked :3

no well thanks for the encouragement. i havent surfed h-t in well over a year. ive never actually heard of this paperclip trick, and ive never claimed to be an ecu guru or anything on that matter. yes im totally in the dark when dealing with ecus. an utterly complete ignorant. so im not going to ask for help on how to do it since all i get is ridicule, but thanks for what you have told me so far
