Your on HMT and cant check the ecu codes ::) If you dont own a paperclip or know how to stuff one into a electrical connector then you are truly fucked :3

no well thanks for the encouragement. i havent surfed h-t in well over a year. ive never actually heard of this paperclip trick, and ive never claimed to be an ecu guru or anything on that matter. yes im totally in the dark when dealing with ecus. an utterly complete ignorant. so im not going to ask for help on how to do it since all i get is ridicule, but thanks for what you have told me so far
