Default Can't lean it out!

Ok running Uberdata w/450's. I am running Scttydb411's map. I can't seem to lean out the idle no matter how much fuel I take out of that RPM in those vacuum ranges. My A/F gauge no longer works at all it just stays rich. I think because closed loop is disabled? I pulled the fuel rail to check if any injectors were leaking by and they didn't seem to. Maybe one is sticking open though. It sounds like I have a huge cam at idle. In boost it runs awesome and there is a slight part throttle hiccup but nothing major. I had to adjust the idle way up to get it to idle at 800. so now the cold Idle is very high. When I pull a sensor to put it into limp mode it idles at 2k. Think my TPS could be bad or my IAC? Thanks for any help.

did you change your injector value from the stock to the 450's. how did you set up your settings? 98ctr

Whats bad about having your engine idle at 800 ? Trust me I've had engines idle as high as 3000 before Also, why not leave your closed loop enabled? I understand it was probably disabled for tuning reasons, but I like to use it sort of as a tool... To help you try and keep a steady Af at idle. Sounds to me like you've got your boost section of the maps pretty decent, try enabling it and see if it helps out. Also, you say that your Af guage reads rich all the time? What are you trying to tune with? Please don't tell me the stock narrowband and an LED AF guage

LOL no I'm not tuning with a Narrowband A/F gauge. I am just trying to get a reading on it at Idle. Scttydb411 has the boost portion nice. I have to order a WB setup. My 450's are set as 450's in uberdata and compensated for. I will enable closed loop. Sctty had it disabled when he sent the map so I figured he did it for a reason. Tranceminister are you in CT or Mass? I think you had mentioned that before.

Ok, I enabled cold loop and it idles better and doesn't stuble part throttle anymore. But my N/B A/F meter just reads lean. Is this a problem? I took it for a ride boosting at 6 psi and didn't here any detination but am worried now. Shouldn't my A/F guage just read rich all the time off idle?

If it's one of those LED guages, i used to have one and it just moved back and forth at idle. The only time it ever actually gave a semi steady reading was at WOT.

I get nothing but red leds at all times, WOT or not. I'm nervous to drive it in closed loop mode.

i keep closed loop disabled and run it that way...go ahead and recheck that. at idle it runs between 14.7 and 13.9 afr. if you are looking at that with regular a/f gauge it will look rich. it'll also idle rich until it warms up. on my car id doesn't as badly since when it's cold on my car the idle starts real high and gradually drops down to between 650 and 800.

your narrowband a/f gauge is 14.0 rich and 15.0 lean...not worth a damn for being safe or getting a good reading.

from what i understand...uberdata will take the average of the 4 cells for the target. if you are just adjusting 1 cell by itself it won't make much of a difference. when i tune it, i hit a group of cells. i'll make a run holding it at a specific vac or boost level and then run it through the rpm while logging. i'll then make my changes to that entire column, part of that column, or a couple of columns or parts to get the tune. keep jumping back to 2d mode to make sure your map doesn't get big spikes in it. you want it to make gradual up and down movements ultimately increasing to redline.

i know you told me before, but where are you located?

I'm in CT. I ran it in CL mode and it runs a ton better. I am going to try the new map you sent tonight. I got the old map off the chip and saved it to a bin. The new map looks more fin tuned. Thanks again for all your help. I am hoping to be getting a WB in the next few weeks.
