can't get mey datalogging working on my laptop whit turboedit need some help

I'm having the same prob tonight...i'm using Logworks 2 with the LC1 hooked up...i'm able to get afr from lc1, but i've got the hulog hooked up to the 4-pin header--i try running pgmfi from logworks on that usb port, and it says no ecu found...don't think i need the moates ostrich hooked up, but not sure. I've been reading all this different stuff, but can't figure out how to read data from the ecu-
am I missing something?
