can somone please post a link to a ebay for to a known working nokia dku-5 usb datalogging cable?

its just that i wanna be sure that it will work. i'v serched and it seems like some of you guys didnt get your ebay cables to work.

Buy a Xenocron cable. I had a Nokia Cable from a little cart at the mail and a Real nokia and alway got problems. Once I got my Xenocron Cable setup right, BINGO

 

Same story here, just spend the extra $15 for one you know will work

 

ALl the DKU-5 cable work. I have used one and you have to use the POP PORT pin out for the wiring diagram. www.pinouts.ru

Thats prolly why mine never worked, I always used the charger ground instead of the data ground.

 

I have come to the conclusion that in reality, ALL of them dont work...and I have tried many and I am not quite sure why. Even if you find the TX, RX & Grnd correctly...there are still side effects on various cable I have found.

The ones from Radio Shack work flawlessly...but you cant find them anymore.

 

so from what i understand the ground that connects to the usb outer case is NOT the ground to use. I should use the ground next to rx and tx on the pin.

Ill give it ago and see how i get on.

 

It worked for me. You have to use the drivers it came with.

 

can anyone help me hook it up please? i got a headace from all these pinouts.

its got 5 wires in it. (black,red,yellow,white,green)
i used a voltmeter to check continuity between the wires and the usb cable and i got continuity only between the black wire and the outer metal thing on the usb connector. the other ones dont have continuity (i guess it need power to close the circuit?)
