Default Can my car run on P07 instead of P06 ECU?

Whould there be any problems other then the check engine light, if i put a P07 ecu instead of P06? I'm gonna be sending the P06 for chipping and cant be without the car for a long time. I already tried putting the P07 in and the car runs, but it chokes a little bit when i slam on the gas. Is it making my car run rich or lean? Thanks for the feedback.
