can i run 5psi on a stock del sol motor with 440cc injectors
i have a d15 del sol motor and a volkswagen turbo, i have the boost guage, the blow off valve and all the lines and charge piping, can i safely run 5psi of boost with just 440cc injectors from a tsi? i also have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, may rise with boost may not, (modeled after holley fpr) or do i need to get a 12:1 fmu? let me know if you have any info

yes they will work. You will need something like an afc or a chipped ecu if you want to run those larger injectors. You need to scale them back so they run normal out of boost and not insanely rich.

Well you can run the larger injetors with the adjustable regulator. The roblem with not using a rising rate one is that it will not adjust for boost. I think that the one you have is just for adjusting the raw pressure.

If you use a 12-1 FMU then you need to use your stock injecters.
If you want to use the 440s, then you need an VAFC or a chipped ECU to control them.
The stock motor should be able to handle up to 10lbs with a good tune. I would suggest the 440s and Uberdata chipped ECU

D16z6 VAFC..." im a -----"
I have the D16Z6 in my SOL and im going to be a ----- and go for a VAFC.. i will also run 450 dsm"s and a small 14b turbo..Im a ----- because uberdata is WAY to ------- confusing..i mean its pretty much CHEAPER and BETTER than the VAFC but its just way to crazy.. to be tunning every single lil detail at every rpm. Not to many people are there to offer lots of advise and COMMFORT...lol..No matter what forums i read. i cant find out more than the last forum..i would pretty much have to load the latest version 1.77 or whatever and test it and play around with it before i got Socketed..

ANYWAYS...the VAFC is fairly easy TRUE.. take a few hours of driving around and tuning it..?? I HOPE ! lol...im only going for 6 pounds but then Sometimes run a 9 pounder! lol at the track or something.. get to that what ...180 hp ? lol i took a ride in a friends LS turbo hatch...----.. it inspired me LOTS! but ls vs. SOHC Vtec... LS will always be better..he was only running 8 pounds..and you feel that ---- in your chest when its pulling in EVERY!!!!! gear !.. ANYWAYS..anyone have EXPERIENCE with VAFC and the tuning it ?

Ok. i have heard about wide band tuning...and read the fuel managment forums......but still doesnt explain WIDEBAND tuning 100% .....Someone explain in " DUMBASS" terms? THANKS :P
