Default Can I datalog with just the Innovate LC-1 wideband?

I apologize if this has been covered before, but I've been searching around for a while and haven't found a clean answer to this simple question.

The question is this, does the Innovate LC-1 let me datalog straight onto my laptop in a similar way as the Zeitronix Zt-2?

What I mean is, I want to datalog my af ratios onto my laptop and then tune my car via crome. I don't have my ecu setup to datalog through crome, so I would like to datalog my af ratios on my laptop, then tune and burn the map.

With my old zt-2 I would datalog onto my laptop through the zeitronix software, then alter my fuel maps accordingly, and it worked great.

I would like to pick up the LC-1 and use that to datalog if I can datalog without having to go through the ECU.

For some reason I'm having a hard time phrasing this question, hopefully someone can understand my question and help me out! Thanks!!

The simple answer is YES. Wire the LC-1 up and hook it to your laptop and open LogWorks.

You can log A/F ratios with the LC-1 and software, but it will be hard to determine where you need to add or subtract fuel because it will not log rpm through just the LC-1.

True without the SSI-4 all you will get is a timeline of AFR readings

Hmmm... so how can I get a log with the AF ratio against RPM?

Do I have to buy an another product from Innovate? I'm thinking I might just go with the zt-2 again, unless the innovate wideband can do the same for cheaper.

As was said above. Logworks will log AFR's, but when logworks is only coupled with an LC-1 it will not log RPM to go with it. As such it is hard to determine where you need to add or remove fuel from your map. That is why its better to interface the LC-1 to the ECU and log through it. You get everything and not just AFR. Innovate does sell other products that allow logging parameters besides AFR.

Yes. He's talking about doing a wideband output to the ECU, then datalogging through crome pro etc. Which I am not setup to do. Well, I guess I could, but that would require me soldering in a datacable into my ECU, and I suck bad at soldering so I would probably have to pay someone to do it for me.

I think I'll just pick up the zt-2, that was so simple and easy to use, I wish I would have sold mine.

If you guys want to log through the LC-1 with other sensors (temp, egt, RPM, etc) you need the SSI-4 of one of the products on this page.

http://innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTS.php

You guys know who to ask if you have any questions

The beauty of this system is that you can daisy chain everything together and log multiple things.
