As a person that sells everything available, I have considerably less time needed to support Neptune vs. eCtune vs. Crome

Re: buying tuning software, need advice
eCtune's codebase has changed fundimental things such as cold startup and battery comp tables a couple times, and the software aggressively updates older codebase .cals into the newest codebase... which makes the car run completely fucked or merely not run correctly when cold. I can redo battery comp and offset and "retrieve" a batt comp trashed tune with 15-45 minutes work (got to verify) which isn't a bad thing since I'm thinging of 300-700 whp cars I've had to do it with.
The BEST thing you can do with eCtune is keep a record of what codebase you tuned each car on. When you need to manipulate it 3+ months later when the codebase has completely changed you open a "new" ROM of the same codebase and import the old tune. Also, KEEP BACKUP COPIES of the original tune. I've had them accidentally overwritten in the past, forcing me to have to update codebases and tweak batt comp/offset, then let the car cool completely overnight to tweak cold startup.

s300
Peace of mind and extremely tunable, you get what you paid for! I have learned my lesson once and for all. s-afc = fail, crome = fail, s100 = good to go w/ CEL from closed loop that I could not change myself. S300 = the best thing going for Hondas.
Keep in mind I have no idea what I'm doing when I randomly punch numbers on my laptop, and that the horrible user interface, obvious failure of basic functions such as timing lock, and Hondata's proven ability to make less power on the same car mean nothing to me! That's why it's the best!
