Hole in the block...The week before I lost a lot of oil...had a leaking oilpan gasket lost almost all my oil and after that it went badn I could hear the bearing. 
On the highway the noise began to get worse.....It just took one minute after the noise began to really sound like a bad bearing and then boomm
...smoke everywhere and a few miles of oil trails.
