projekteg: OBD1 PR4 if LS, P61 if GS-R. Look into Uberchips is my recommendation.

J Davis you are the man! this thread is getting me excited. I have a chip burner on the way, and a pm6 and ps9(ex auto) both waiting for me to slap chips in. i've noticed on your webpage that you have v2.0 of ghettodyne. is this still in the testing stage? i've been checking the pgmfi board alot, but mostly just reading and trying to learn. i've downloaded the georgehack, but it won't open in ghettodyne, so what do I open it with, a hex editor? keep the info coming.

Hi guys,

I just have a little question about ghettodyne chip.

does the chip ajust the mixture with the psi of boost??

I mean if i install a chip on a 8 psi turbo and on a 5 psi turbo, does the 5psi engine will run lean?

and i would like to know how can i modify the setting because i'm gonna get a chip and would like to tune it with a wide band.

Thanks

Get the regular, naturally aspirated version of Ghettodyne and look at it, civic1990si. That is what it does now, and what it will do for boost as soon as a few bugs are ironed out.

turbowagonman: 2.0 still has bugs. 2.2 is being beta tested now, and is based on George's code based "AFC hack." You want a copy of that? Go here:

Re:Boost w/ Ghettodyne & ZC

88 -89 PM6s end up controlling your car the same as a 90 - 91 PM6.. that's why it's a "PM6". The difference, however, is the hardware that is used to create the ECU. In the 88-89, the program used to control fuel and spark is located in a microcontroller which makes it difficult to "chip". It can be done, but if you don't have a background in being able to understand eletronics, you'll be better off just buying a 90 - 91 PM6. This generation of PM6 holds the program in an external 256K EEPROM. This is good for tuner because you just have to desolder the chip, drop in a socket, and drop in your own EEPROM. How quaint.
