someone please help me with a tuned boost map for a obd0 motor d16z6 t3t4 turbo my map really isnt working well ildes all fucked up,

 

xenocron has a great basemap helper on pgmfi.org.

look it up

 

i have and i used it but it runs soo rich it smokes really bad at idle and only gets 18mpg

 

it's impossible to run rich at idle unless you're screwing something up.

right off of the bat with the basemap helper, I'm running 15.5 afr at idle, part throttle is like stock, and boost is 12's.

correction for me:

xenocron's latest rendition of the basemap helper does run rich.

my apologies.

what I did was the following:
open turboedit twice
open ng48 in one, stock pm6 rom in other
open basemap helper from www.------------- (old old one)(follow the turbo edit links)
copy stock to basemap helper, basemap helper to ng48
then scale for injectors, and then do 120% turbo efficiency, and then timing retard.

 

when under boost y do i get such shitty gas milage?

 

cuz its pumping more fuel to compensate for the air coming in haha...

 

if you are running rich using the new basemap helper you can always put in a (-)negative "Tweak Number"
