Re: bmw tuning?
I've been looking into Turboing my e36 325is:
1. Megasquirt can work, with a lot of hacking 2. E-manage can actually work fully with some small DIY hacking. 3. The PerfectPower SMT-5/6 works. What I would love to see is someone come up with a DIY way to reprogram the ECU chip (in a OBD-1 car). Someone started a forum about it here: http://www.and1c.com/forums/index.php? and there's a lot of conversation here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=431228 It would make my year if someone figured it out... An OBD-2 M3 can be converted to OBD-1, a bit of work but they do make kits for it I believe, and that alone gives you a HP boost. |
